Almost every skin care company is claiming to have the best anti wrinkle products, but do they really? My short answer is no, if you want to know what I look for in effective creams, keep reading!
So what am I talking about? Why am I saying that all these companies are lying to you? I don’t want to sound negative; but I guess I have to! I don’t want you spending your money on products that do not work.
Most of these so called “best anti wrinkle products” say that they will improve your skin and they have this and that ingredient that will make you look like a baby again. It’s not true, it is just marketing so that they can get you to buy their product.
This is why most of the natural alternatives can’t compete, they don’t have multi-million dollar budgets or celebrities promoting their products.
They are just chugging along doing nicely just by word of mouth. When I first started buying anti wrinkle creams, I was clueless. I went for the brands that were promoted on TV and I thought it was that simple.
After a few months, my skin wasn’t looking better, in fact, it looked worse! I was stunned, why would my skin look worse? They said that my skin would look great if I just used their product.
At first I thought that it was my fault, maybe my skin had some kind of genetic mutation that didn’t allow this skin to work. But then a friend of mine said that they had been researching about what these companies put into these products.
That’s when I had my first a-ha moment about the so called “best anti wrinkle products”. It was all marketing.
So I started looking for natural alternative and sure enough, there were plenty of them, but even the natural ones had fakes and false promises.
I was going crazy, there were lies everywhere and I was extremely frustrated. When I was just giving up I found the product that I now use and will probably use forever (I hope they don’t stop making it!).
You too can find a product that fits your body. How? You have to learn what to look for in these anti wrinkle creams.
You want to avoid ingredients like alcohol, acrylamide, mineral oil, parabens, toluene, triclosan and I could go on and on. There are many of these ingredients and you can read more about them on my website if you want.
Then you should look for natural ingredients, stuff you could eat! Things like:
- Natural vitamins
- Natural herbs
- Natural oils (like grapeseed, jojoba etc)
- Fruit extracts
- Vegetables extracts
You know, just look for natural stuff and you’ll find the best anti wrinkle products, I promise!
